Seems more and more schools have alternate unis.

Both Texas A&M of the SEC and OSU and Baylor of the Big 12 have a black uniform for their football teams in rotation.

I don't have to tell anyone how loud those highlighter Baylor basketball jerseys were during the Sweet Sixteen and Elite 8.

And Oregon is undoubtedly the winner of most eccentric uniform choices, but do you think this black jersey and pants trend is a lasting trend or a fleeting fashion we'll soon mock? It seems unpractical for heat.

Honestly I hate it for the most part. Oregon does have some pretty sweet alternates but for the most part I prefer classic jerseys like Alabama and Penn State. If you really wanna see some horrific alternate jerseys check out the alternates Wisconsin and Nebraska are going to wear when they go head to head....just awful..

They suck except for a few schools who have done it right, like Michigan and Notre Dame. They'll wear alternates, but they're usually still actual team colors and they usually have a little tribute to the past.

I don't even mind it when schools mix up the pants and jersey colors a little as long as they're just different school colors and not crazy for the sake of being crazy, like Oregon or Maryland. For instance, I don't mind Texas Tech's too much. They just go with different red, black, and white combos -- nothing outrageous.

Uh oh, I like Nebraska but I hadn't heard of this... Is it really that bad?

Never mind, just looked... Yes it is. :puke:

You're right for the most part.

I hate Baylor's alternate jersey's, they're pretty ridiculous and worthy of lampooning.

i think they are all stupid, specially the ones with traditional jerseys like A&M or Ohio State, its just dumb. im ok with Oregon doing it because, thats kind of their thing, but id rather see something more traditional with the other top CFB powers

For the most part they are just terrible. Marylands alternates gave me a head ache watching them. I don't think Baylor's would be that bad if they didnt have that hideous looking piping on the shoulders or the diagonal green stripes on the pants.
