Do You believe this team can win the super bowl?

I do.

After seeing what Romo could do without his 3 main targets. Literally......

If the Line just buys the guy a little time, this is our year.

We have the defense now that can help Romo, even if he makes a mistake(Which he will, like all great 1's do)

I hate to agree with Risen, but this season lies in the hands of the O-Line now....we have all the cards I believe to go as far as we want.

I pray the O-line plays like it did the last 2 pre season games. Maybe even a little better

I think we have the best foundation to do so in years.

Injuries and depth will determine far down the path we get.

Yes, to answer your question.

Not this year. Still need another year to build the OL. We are in year 2 of a 3 year plan.

Next year it all comes together.

Steelers did a few years back, with the worst O-line to start the season, they got a little better as the season went on, but still sucked.

The Defense is what helped them out. I believe we can have that happen here.

I believe it all starts with the O-line this season, but I have faith we can overcome it, and improve.

the pieces are coming together and the great thing is most are young pieces, to answer your question though

this year = no, the offensive line is too much of a liability with inadequate center play

next year = if they get a solid, anchoring center then yes.

yes, decent season this year maybe make the playoffs then next year is our year!!!

I have always said..."let me see the OL, and I will tell you what I think the potential of this team is". And the OL might be improved from last year...but not nearly enough for a team so reliant on Romo. So as much as it pains me to say this....NO, this is not a team that can compete for a Super Bowl. I would actually consider it a step in the right direction if it makes the playoffs.

No.

I have been burnt too many times the last decade thinking the team has turned it around.

Now they have to prove it to me...they have to earn my trust so to speak.

YES!!!

I'm glad everybody feels this way.....

This is when the team usually steps up and shocks everyone.

Everybody, please have this mentality, no matter what we do. Even if we blow out every team. Please have the mentality we wont make it very far.

Because when peoples mind start switching, is when we start sucking. :)

No no.....just keep this mentality. No matter what they do. Forget earning trust.

This is where I'm at. However..sounding like a broken record here...if the o-line plays better that we all expect...we could easily make a run.

I believe this team needs to learn how to win late in games, you have 16 games to work on improving and coming together. Right now just hoping they can compete in the NFC East and make post season if they can then you have a chance.

I think we certainly have a good chance to do some damage in the playoffs. Whether that leads to us getting to and winning the Super Bowl remains to be seen. So...consider me optimistic.

I'm on the same page as you. I think our defense let us down late in the games to hold on to leads. Romo can get points on the board early. We just have to hold on to those leads!!!!!

That's the way I feel.

Reason I believe is the defense man. It looks so much better than last year. Carr has been nothing short of terrific in pre-season. Obviously with Mo being a rookie it'll take him some time to get used to the NFL game, but when he does he's gonna be pretty damn good. Church is playing exactly like he did in training camp. Very, very well. Dude even said it he LOVES to hit. We finally gott ourselves a hard hitting safety. Sean Lee is a stud and will continue to get better. Oh and yeah I forgot we still got DeMarcus Ware one of the best players to ever step on the football field. The days of teams easily marching down the field against our defense are over.

Offensively I've really liked what I've seen from Harris, Ogeltree, Beasley. If those guys keep playing well we're gonna have a lot of weapons for Tony to throw to. DeMarco Murray is coming off a sensational rookie campaign where he had just under 900 yards rushing and he missed the last three games and he only started half the season. I fully expect him to become an elite running back this season. That kid is gonna be special.

Dez also looks to be focused and trying to put all his off field issues behind him. Agreeing to those rules the team made for him is clearly proof of that. This guy has INCREDIBLE potential. He can be the top offensive player in the game and one of the greatest ever. That's what he can be. I'm fully expecting a huge breakout season from Dez. Like Murray I fully expect Dez to emerge as an elite player at his respective position.

Miles and Witten who are obviously two big weapons for us are injured, but all indications are that they'll be ready next week against the Giants. I think Miles will be motivated to bounce back after an injury riddled season. I'm sure he hears all the whispers that his breakout season in 2009 was a fluke and that we overpaid for him. Witten will also be motivated to prove everyone that has saud he's no longer the premier tight end in the game anymore wrong.

At the end of the day though we still have one of the best quarterbacks in the world in Tony Romo. Whenever you have a guy like that with great weapons across the board your offense is gonna be hard to stop. Offensive line is clearly an issue, but they have looked better recently after an awful showing in the pre season opener. Last game Tony had time to throw on both throws and you saw the difference it made. We scored two touchdowns relatively quickly. I looked at my friend and I said see what happens we he gets time? Our offensive line doesn't have to be great just serviceable. We've seen teams win the Super Bowl like Green Bay and New York with less than stellar offensive lines.

Listen I'm not saying we're gonna win it for sure, but I believe we're capable. I believe in the Cowboys. I believe Tony Romo is a Super Bowl caliber quarterback. I believe Jason Garrett is a championship caliber coach. At the game the other day and I was screaming like a maniac. I yelled Cowboys Super Bowl Champs several times. I'm only 17 years old so I've never witnessed a Cowboys Super Bowl. I'm STARVING for one. I wanna know as a fan what it feels like. I'm as big a Cowboys fan as you'll find. I love my Boys and I really hope we get it done this year. It's been too long.

Go Cowboys!!! :starspin :starspin :starspin
