There were some rumors about the Marlins including Heaney in a trade with Baltimore for Chris Davis but it aint happening now. Not sure why the Marlins traded him since he is one of the top prospects.

Gordon is nice. Haren is aging. Dodgers got Heaney who is the top prospect for Miami and Hatcher who is a very good reliever.

They got jimmy rollins for basically nothing.

Today they trade kemp. Getting younger and deeper.

Dodgers got rid of Gordon to play Guerrero, last yr the cuban who everybody wanted.

Got rid of kemp to play joc pederson.

Brought in rollins as a stop gap until seager is ready.

Dodger have a very deep farm system that they want to start bringing up

I think it is more about the money they are paying in these deals. I mean, the amount they sent for Kemp, so Ethier can play. Paying Haren 10mill, when he said he probably will retire, if he doesn't play in California. I do not like rich teams, paying so much money, and driving the market up, for 1 good year out of a player, then paying them to leave like this. It, drives up the market for avg players. Is Crawford really worth, that contract(yes I know the Sawks paid him)?

The dodgers wanted gonzalez and beckett. Crawford was a player that was added to make the deal go on bostons end. They wanted to get rid of him.

Dodgers arent paying Haren anything. If he retires and wont get anything if he plays marlins pay the whole 10 mil.

And Kemp led the majors in hitting after the alstar break. He just started to get healthy. But he was a cancer in the lockerroom.

Dodgers got leaders back in these trade this yr. Especially Jimmy Rollins.

And theyre still not done.
