Watch the game with TV muted, and have Brad & Charlie as audio. It is way better as long as you don't have a delay.

nope never done it and probably never will even with broadcasters like Joe buck and Gumbel...

OMG. Charlie is the worst. He talks so slowly. Often he's still trying to finish a sentence about the first down play while 2nd down is happening. He sucks.

Well in my opinion Brad Sham adds more to the game. As he is trying to paint a picture for those who aren't watching.

If you have Tivo or such you can out them in sync since the radio broadcast always seems to be just a little behind the game.

NFL Netowrk is by far the worst.

Joe Buck with anyone is #2.

Madden would be the best.

As for the Sugar Ball, Terry and Howie were surprisingly good.

How can you consider Madden good ?

He has been saying the same crap year after year forever.

Its like the story your dad tells over and over even though everyone has heard it ten times before.

He does know the game.

Yeah he is Captain Obvious sometimes but I'd rather listen to someone who knows the game as oppose to Joe Buck or guys like Gumbel and Collinsworth.

You think Collinsworth doesnt know the game ?

Buck knows the game, his problem is that he relies on his production assistants for info rather than watching every game, which is stupid in my opinion.

Gumbel is completely out of his element thus far. He is a huge sports fan and watches lots of film. Problem is; he doesnt seem to know what he is looking for to describe it.

And Madden is only around for marketing at this point. He rarely brings anything of substance to the broadcasts.

I'm even worse than that: my radio broadcast has a ~30 second delay, but I listened to the delayed audio anyway.
For Monday Night Football, I muted the TV to zero. For Madden and Michaels, I sometimes left both TV and PC audio low, and then listened selectively.
Mostly, I want to hear Christy Scales on the sideline, with reports of injuries or incidents, which the TV guys never mention.
