Is there anybody here who works or used to work for AFLAC or know anybody who works for AFLAC? What do you like/ or don't like about working there?

They found my resume online and invited me come in for a couple interviews. I just got out of the second interview and they offered me a job. I told them I had to think it over.

I've had a hard time finding a permanent job ever since I've graduated college...worked a few temp jobs here and there.

I've got a lot of thinking to do over the next few days. I don't really have any sales experience.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Of course he did; everybody hates telemarketers, people were probably screaming at him. I'll bet the agents have a better time.

a job >> no job

The only problem is you don't want to look like you're unstable so I tell mine you should stay 3 years on a job. If you take it and quit be prepared to explain. Good luck.

If you have not had a stable job, and a place is offering you full time employment, you should of said, Yes on the spot. But, if you have a full time job, atm and are thinking of switching, then I get it.

Just tell then if you audibly fart in a room, they can't look or say anything to you. If they agree, tell them you will take it.

I had a friend that worked there for about 6 months... he liked it just fine...

The reason he left Aflac is that one of our VP's left (he had left because of him) and he got his job back. He had nothing bad to say about them at all...

They provide really good supplemental insurance...

Sadly, I think this is something that is wrong with my generation. Having the luxury of living at home, well after the age of 18. Being able to pick and choose, where they want to work.

I could have lived at home after the age of 18. Instead I bolted out the door on my own the day after I turned 18 screaming, I'm ****ing outta here! :laugh2:
