Well it would help us be less predictable, it's not like he doesn't have it in his locker either, so it is an obvious yes surely?

I wouldn't game plan to have my QB running all over the place. I would make it a point to show some designed QB runs to the defense just to give them something to think about.

I would preach to my QB that if he sees it, take it.

I think the answer is yes. But he needs to be more committed to it. Last year I thought he took too long to make the decision to run and defenders got to him before he could get loose. Maybe it was his injury but I think there are times when the opportunity presents itself, he should take off. Those QB runs for first downs are annoying to the defense and also gives them something else to think about. There is the exhaustion factor too.

When it's there.

I'd much rather him run for 4 yards on 3rd and 3 instead of try and fit it into a tight window to Noah Brown.

He's not Vick or Jackson. Dak is clunky and lumbering.

It's as simple as falling off a log.

Not more, just at the right times bail out and make the defense more honest. They don't worry about him running now. If he does it early in the season more then occasionally later then it will open up some downfield space for receivers.

Yes. He seemed to of forced a pass at times last when even Bledsoe could of ran for the 1st down on 3rd and short.

I don't think Moore needs to design too many read options at this stage but I think Moore should tell Dak after 4-5 seconds if no one is open check the running lanes.

Yes I think especially when you are running RPO the option of the QB keeping it has to be there. In straight drop backs if you can't find a open man and there is room to take the yards on the run you take the yards. Dak has the ability to run with the ball and must show that dual threat

Yes he should run when its open ...... with the horrible injury he had, he is not gonna have a 15 or twenty year career ...... he needs to get the most out of his time left before arthritis starts to take its tole.

#17, about Dak running more or not.
As been discussed from MM's comments wanting Dak to run more. The guys here have a varied opinion.
Even Brady the slow goat runs when its appropriate, and knows that he will not get killed.
Its all about the timing, perhaps its a 3rd and 8 and he sees an excellent safe lane to the sideline and can get the first.
Dak doesnt need to be a Lamar Jackson, but he does need to be able to evaluate the situation, down and distance, and so far he hasnt proven to be very good at evaluation.

Prescott needs to elevate his game against the better opponents and if that means running more, then do it.

he is not that good running , no shiftiness or speed especially after the injury. jerry is also a bit protective of his huge investment now with that huge contract , so the message to him is to duck early .
