Does Garrett's hire guarantee a defensive head coach?

Assuming JG isn't named head coach, would we be right to assume that a defensive guy will be brought in to be the head coach?

With the exception of Norv Turner, I can't see any offensive guy coming here with Garrett installed on offense already.

sure seems headed that way. but then again... we're talkin' about jerry.

i think wade phillips makes the most sense if the garrett development is for real.

I believe so.

Not sure you can expect the current staff to run a top 10 defense and I believe Jerry thinks this is a top 10 defense.

The guys being mentioned generally have a defensive slant aside from Norv and I think Norv was undercut by the success of his former pupil.
