Does Peter Warrick have anything left?

Looks like the S. Green experiment has run its course. Just saw that Warrick's getting released this weekend from the 'Hawks. Once upon a time, Warrick was a pretty dynamic return guy but mediocre receiver (see Desmond Howard). How about the veteran minimum to bring him in for a looksee and make just him our return specialist?

Thoughts???

peter does have it left. I saw him return a few this preseason he looks alot faster then he did as a rookie actually.

But unless we were thinking about keeping skylar i dont think we should get peter. But if we wanted to keep skylar for his returning i say cut him and pick up peter because peter is better.

Nope... I think S. Green makes the team.

if we don't keep Skyler i think it will be rector, and maybe crayton, with newman in some situations

no room for peter. we have t.o,glenn, crayton, rector, and hurd and needing to carry an extra kicker i think rules out more than 5 wr's. besides i'm hoping rector can do it so he will be active for games. i think this kid has a little something

Why not Julius Jones as a punt returner? He doesn't seem to be irreplacable in the running game and most of his reputation at Notre Dame came through the kick return game.
