Find out his car alarm sound, download it and setup a blue tooth portable loud speaker pointed at his house.

Then randomly play the car alarm sound throughout the day and night so he keeps having to figure out why his fob is not turning if off while your other neighbors get more aggravated with him thinking they are all from his car :D

Not a suggestion, but a fun thought experiment :D

LOL, that would be awesome. If I remember correctly, @aria was dealing with the neighbor car alarm situation recently and had a good solution but I can't remember what it was. Maybe he can chime in.

On a related note, I've never understood the purpose of a car alarm. People are just annoyed at the sound of them and it's not like anyone comes running to stop a thief when one goes off. The panic button on the fobs is even more baffling. I've set mine off a couple of times when my keys were in my pocket. No one checked to see if I was ok. It was "can you shut off your stupid car?"

Lol, I actually used the car alarm to my advantage. My jerk neighbors kept their dog outside 24/7 and let it bark all day and night. We tried being polite and calling them after it became excessive but they never did anything. I finally started activating my car alarm at night every time the dog woke me up.

I don’t have any other neighbors that it would bother but it definitely got their attention because they started calling me to let me know it was going off. I would just act surprised and do it again. They finally got the message and eventually gave the dog away which I feel bad about but hopefully the dog went to a better home with people that actually treated it like it should be treated.

Of course they implied it was fault that they had to give the dog away

I remember that now. Lol, that is an awesome solution to excessive dog barking, which is more common. I'll never understand people who get a dog and shove it in their yard all day. They are not a toy and need attention! Don't feel bad for the dog. I have no doubt they got a better life.

For sure. Hell, I would have taken the dog if I knew they were giving it away so at least I could give it a good life. All my “pets” are my children, I don’t get it either.

I know you would. When I was a kid, we took in the neighbor's dog that barked all the time. He never did it after he was with us because we took care of him. They all bark sometimes but when they're standing in the yard doing it all day/night long, you know something is wrong.
