Does the media influence team decisions?

So much drama, and I wonder if so much can't effect the team?
I am truly wondering what other people think about the media and whethwer or not they effect the real game through the coaches the players or whatever?

well obviously they have some influence...even with Big Bill. Henson didnt start that game cause BP wanted a look at him, he started cause BP wanted to show the fans/media that he wasnt ready
