I mentioned last week that Wilson didn't seem as sharp as the past with regard to tackling; he used to pop people. After getting more opportunities vs Cinn, he played better and was crisper. He was good in coverage too. 8 tackles and some were in space vs the TE/RB.
Solid game in the absence of Kearse. Good scheme around him, seemed to be in the right place.

Not knocking Wilson, but I'm starting to think that position Kearse plays is a primary tackler in this scheme. It may not have been as much about Kearse as it was the spot, although you do have to have good players playing it. Seems like the position plays a lot like an unblocked weakside LB spot, which is the main tackle position in a lot of 4-3s. That's a good thing because you don't want these safeties playing linebacker to have to take on guards too often.

There were a couple of Fantasy Football guys watching the game behind me, and they kept asking, "Who is that Wilson guy???" He was playmakin' in that game, for sure.
