but the thought of having to give up Key for Owens makes me feel like throwing up.

Yes I know Owens is a far better player at this stage in his career than Key, would give us a legitimate deep threat and make the weak Skins, Eagles and Giants' DBs pee themselves twice per year.

However, the downside with Owens is huge, he is a mental case, will pout if he doesn't get the ball and hurt the team chemistry that existed last year.

Key is the guy I love to get the ball on 3rd and 8, he will make the tough catches, has developed into a real team guy, and the numbers showed, when we got him the ball last year, we won. when we didn't we lost.

I'm not certain the increase in productivity at WR will offset the downside Owens will bring.

Ya know I never used to pay attention to the writers n stuff. I am serious when I say that this message board has the latest and greatest and then we get a flood of articles covering stuff we already talked about. There are probably a handful of writers I like the others are just clueless repeating stuff that has already been said.

The reason I say that is because of all the writers saying Larry and Key are gone. There is no way this will happen. If TO ends up in Dallas Key goes to the slot it is as simple as that. If money was an issue with Larry his agent would of heard from the organization already. It would be silly for Larry to leave considering what his reputation is here.

I share your concerns but I trust Parcells. Regardless of the outcome I am a Cowboy fan.

I agree, Key will get a pay raise and get the tough first downs.

Crazycowboy - you just posted how much you want TO in another thread.

Back to thread - I will be ill if we sign TO. He represents everything a Cowboy should not be.

I hope you guys are right. It would be stupid to get rid of Keyshawn. He is not the selfish player that he used to be. I believe at this point in his career he is definitely more about winning.

In my opinion TO and Key would coexist just fine. It's in both of their best interests to do so.

And what a lethal combo they would make when on the field together, not to mention Glenn and Witten.

To be honest, the more that I think about this prospect of Owens coming on to the team the more I think that this could be an extremely good WR if Owens is on A+ behavior and Key is kept on the team.

Owens on one side Key on the other and Glenn in the slot would create serious mismatch problem for opposing teams. In three wide sets Julius Jones OR Barber could pick and choose between some serious real estate options to run through. To sign T.O. and release Key would be a mistake IMHO with all the cap room that we have.

I'm one of the ones who wouldn't mind TO coming here at all. I think he could really help this team...

I would hate to lose Keyshawn in the process though. I really like what he brings to this team.

In a perfect world, I would like to see TO brought in, behave himself, and let the Cowboys run some more three receiver sets. I think Julius would thrive in that kind of system.

if TO comes here we should worry about key more then TO.i personally think key should be in the slot and 3rd wr.NOT terry.

No kidding and can you imagine the games JuJo has because teams can't bring 8 in the box anymore.

Yea it would be a real shame to actually have a legitimate STUD on offense for a change.
