Dowdle played pretty solid. Rush played the way I expected him to. Rush is a nice backup but this offense is really bad and no backup or many starters in the nfl could win many games with what we have.
I'm sure you know a lot of football but NOBODY saw Rush throwing for under 50 yards. He played the worst game of his career and probably one of the worst QB games in the history of the franchise.
The run hasn’t worked that well and we’re playing from behind which takes us away from the run. Our first four plays were passes because Philly ranks 5th against the run and our only chance of winning was throwing the ball. You score with the passing game and we need points.

I agree. Even when it's working, we abandon it. They seemed to decide that Dowdle had enough carries and stopped feeding him.
Someone posted a graph with fewest yards in a game with 20 attempts. He was up there
I think it was even worse than that when you factor in that he had 23 pass attempts. I can't find the all-time Dallas worst passing game for a QB but I did find this performance was the worst since at least 2000.
I said it during the game, there's no way I will believe that McCarthy or the RBs coach wanted to replace Dowdle with Zeke in the 1st half.
