First time in Austin next week and I need to play tour guide. I've got 25-30 folks that I need to herd to a bar/resturant for cocktails, face time & such.

Needs to be in walking distance of the downtown core and the chicken wire stage should be clean. :)

Hard to go wrong if you stick to Sixth Street.

I can't name any specific beer joints, but they have many, as well as eateries and hotels within an easy walk.

I enjoy the Mooseknuckle quite a bit, its on 6th, cheap to if ya hit it up on Thursdays

The Warehouse District.. try, the Spaghetti Warehouse>>very equipped for large parties>>good food, good wine and fair price for location and quality. That'd be on 4th street. There is Trulucks, Ushi, Katz, Gumbo's... and many more near the warehouse district.

Here's a guide, my man: it should have something for every body.

What are you looking to do?

Hmmm....that's interesting.

I prefer Cameltoe...and I don't like paying for it...but that's just me. :)
