Something Jerry hasn't done in 30 years  :lmao:Get his team to a NFC Championship game. Let this set in. With a rookie quarterback. Backup Dallas defensive players. New coaching staff. DQ has done the impossible -according to the Dallas 30 year plan absent. BoZo should of kept DQ over McCarthy and stepped back and let DQ do his magic. I know-I know-the Green bay game. How do we not know Jerry had a hand in that? It's reported that he told Kellen Moore to tone down his play calling the first year Kellen was killing it with Dak. We know he had his hands in keeping Zeke in the lineup when clearly Zeke should of never even been re-signed. Sorry Zek..still love you for your past deeds. As long as the grim reaper is looking over the shoulder of any coach. It's not going to matter who you bring in. Because coach Reaper Jones is going to meddle. It's like hiring the best chief in the world. And some idiot comes in there telling him how to do his job. And what ingredient's he needs to change for his dish. Welcome to Dallas. Really hard to even get excited to be honest. Let's see. A clown-a stooge- or a puppet for Dallas head coach is coming. Man...each year gets harder to stay on board. What a friggin JOKE!

He wins a Super Bowl. Year 2 won't matter....His rookie quarterback will be better as will his cap. Washington is just going to get better for the next 3 to 5. years. I take Philly to lose today -minus the weather. If that's bad- all bets are off. Anyhow Philly will be worse next season. Giant's will be rebuilding. Dallas???? Who the hell knows....

Please. Quinn is a fraud. His vaunted defense gave up 520 yards and 31 points. They won in spite of him. Period.

Can't talk about DQ or the Washington season until the season is over without putting the losers curse on their back.

Quinn has taken two different teams to at least a CCG.

Quinn turned our lousy defense around overnight and we started dominating in turnovers, breaking team and even NFL records.

Quinn leaves, and Zimmer puts our defense right back to historic bad.

Quinn is likely going to win coach of the year for turning around the laughingstock Washington team coming off a 4-13 record, and he did it overnight.

Quinn is a great coach.

Next season they will just surround Daniels with more weapons and they will be even better

I think it shows multiple things.

1) It's not all about the coach. Quinn had some good defenses here, but they were not good enough to help us get over the hump throughout his tenure. He's obviously a good enough coach to get a team to a Super Bowl, because he's done it before, but so had McCarthy and he couldn't do it here.

2) Health is extremely important. Although every team loses players during a season, the key is who you lose. Washington was a much healthier team than Detroit and that was clear in the Commanders' victory.

3) You cannot get by just by drafting well. Washington's front office gave Quinn what he needed to contend. If the Commanders had been hit by injury, it wouldn't have really mattered, but the Commanders shopped low and high to fill out their roster and built it well enough to get to this point.

4) You've got to have luck. Washington's path went through Tampa Bay, which was a weak division winner that we beat with a backup QB and then through a Detroit team which was reeling from those injuries. Not saying a healthy Dallas team would have beaten the Lions, but they clearly weren't the same team as earlier in the season.

..but he did win us 3 super bowls. Sure it's a drought, sooner or later they'll right the ship.
