Well, he's a One Trick Pony
One trick is all that horse could do
He did that one trick only
It's the principal source of his revenue

I'll bet when your alarm clock goes off in the morning, you blame Quincy for that too, don't you??

What's funny is you think Ricky Ray would be an improvement over Q-bong...

you got it all wrong he thinks Ricky Ray would be an VAST improvement over Troy Aikman

Quincy led us to the playoffs.....how does that make him a bust?

I believe that makes him a one hit wonder, not a bust

If one wishes to gain instant credibility on this board, the best way to accomplish that is to get TheProphet and Philo gangin' up on ya...

yes because they know alot more then the rest of us

I haven't been all that impressed with Blalock's play.

Don't care what he benched.

People don't realize that strength in the legs is far more important to O-Lineman than strength in the arms.

i'd say they are equal, because you have to have the drive to push them back and arm strength to bully them around and pancake them

And why aren't you impressed??

He's only the best offensive lineman on arguably the best offensive line in college football...

Last season, the Horns' first without Vince Young, the offense averaged 391.5 yards per game, and 35.9 points per game... this was the only year during Justin's time with the Horns that they didn't average well over 400 yards a game...

The season before, the Horns were 3rd in the nation in total offense at 512.8 yards per game, 1st in scoring offense at 50.2 points per game...

For Blalock's 4 years in Austin, the Horns averaged over 40 points per game, and over 450 yards a game...

So I repeat, why aren't you impressed with the best lineman on a high-powered offense like the Horns have had??

just because i can...

how do you figure Justin was the one that made that line THAT much better?

He has been their best offensive lineman that last 2-3 years... the Horns have 2 other linemen who will almost certainly be drafted this year-- center Lyle Sendlein and OG Kasey Studdard, but while Blalock is looking like an late first/second round type, Studdard and Sendlein are likely 5th or 6th round prospects...

I never suggested that Blalock was the ONLY reason that offense was so productive, obviously Vince Young had a lot to do with that too... all I said is that Blalock was the Horns' best offensive lineman, and that offense wouldn't have been so good if it wasn't getting some pretty good blocking up front...

Hence the "too bad."

I would, however, have thought it would've been a larger number than 5 since 2000.

...and players can "rate" at a first round level and not be taken in the first...as is common with guards.

It isn't too bad - it means you can get great talent at the position in round 2 or 3.
