No. Travis Jones or a starting caliber Edge would be preferred. There are also LB's in that area I would rather have.

Boye Mafe. All the measurables, decent production, potential. I could see it.

Zion, or Dax Hill, or Brisker.

Perhaps Travon Walker. But there's no chance he's there.

I don't think so, unless a 1st round talent starts falling towards 40. The second round is loaded.

Sam Williams.

Probably a DE, if they go that route. The OL talent will start getting flushed out by about 30, but the DE pool is still just as stacked.

Kyle Hamilton. Otherwise... not a lot of dudes. This isn't a top heavy year where it's worth extra ammo to move up.

- How high would you be willing to take Damone Clark?

After this spinal fusion... 4th round. I'm the biggest Clark fan on this board, but you're automatically losing 25% of his rookie contract and there's no guarantee he'll be the same guy after recovering. Back injuries suck.

Gulp. Huge bust risk.

6th round, probably. I don't think there's a ton of difference between a 6th rounder and a UDFA.

First off, big props for all the thought you're putting into these questions.

-Would you trade up in the 2nd round for a pass rusher? And if so, which pass rusher would you trade up for

No. I think trading up is about the worst thing we could do in this draft. There's a bunch of guys in rounds 2 and 3 that I think are similar calibre prospects. If anything, I think we should be trading down and trying to accumulate top 100 picks. My guess is not too many trade-downs will be available since everyone will be thinking the same thing.

-Whats the highest you can see Charlie Kolar getting drafted?

I think he belongs late 3rd or early 4th. But who knows? Some team could love him, so I could see him going late 2nd.

- Would you be happy with Skyy Moore in the 2nd?

Yes. They're going to take WR somewhere in the first 3 rounds. To me, Moore could easily end up being the best receiver in this class (not predicting this; just think it could happen). I like him better than Burks.

-Who do you see as a dark horse for #24?

Nakobe Dean. He'd be my preferred pick but I think they're locked in on interior O-line or, failing that, WR. Someone's going to get a guy with top-10 tape late in the first round, or even early in the second, in Nakobe Dean.

There you go: that's how we end up with Dean! Dean plus an extra top-100 pick. Draft heaven.

Nobody. See my response to the first question.

Pick #129. He'll miss 2022 but the guy we'll take at 129 is likely to be a role player anyway.

I'd use one of the 5ths on him, which is about what you'd expect to use for a really good kicker. The special teams ace that might tempt me to use a higher pick is punter Matt Araiza. Brugler thinks he may not make it out of day 2.

Parham. Fortner. Lindstrom. Jurgens. (We'd play him at LG, but Zion would probably be an upgrade at C too.)

nope -- only player I would trade up for at all is JDavis, and that would only cost me a 5th or two 5ths more, and is because I think he is a three down player who is willing to do the dirty work of taking on double teams and pressing the pocket pushing the QB back to the DE's.
