I'm putting my Nikes on

- Which player that could be avaliable to Dallas on both sides of the ball have the biggest 2022 impact?

Daxton Hill is the guy I see having the biggest immediate impact on defense. He is so versatile and so talented.

- Which player that could be avaliable to Dallas on both sides of the ball have the biggest long term impact?

On offense, Tyler Smith hitting and becoming a stud LT would be the biggest long term boon. On defense, Hill could be that dude, but he's a long term injury risk because he's so skinny. One of the DEs hitting would be huge.

- Dallas talked to a few day 2 caliber HB's at the combine. What day projected day 2 HB do you see lasting until the 4th?

Haven't watched one minute of HB tape

- If Dallas trades down, what player or position do you see our trading partner targeting ?

Probably a WR, we're kind of in the meat of that range.

- Trading up in the 2nd got mentioned a couple times in the debate thread, who would you consider trading up for in the 2nd?

There's a lot of DE talent that would go 1st round most years and will probably slip to the 2nd. Ebitibake is a guy you could justify a trade up for. I also really like Sam Williams.

- Is Perrion Winfrey more of what we have been drafting on day 2 at DT, or is he better?

I think he compares very closely to Neville Gallimore, but I also think Gallimore is a really good player when he's healthy. I'm bullish on Winfrey.

- TE: Safe pick like Ruckert or Otton, or swing for the fences with Woods?

Woods, but he's going early.

- Name one DE that will likely be drafted between 20-60 that you can see having more than 7 sacks as a rookie. Now name one that you can see having fewer than 3

Ebitabake and Sam Williams are ready to beat NFL LTs right now. Ojabo is the "easy out" for DEs who could underperform, but I could also see Mafe needing a year. I'm really bullish on the whole class though.

- Do you think Sam Howell has a legitimate chance to become an NFL starting QB

Haven't watched 1 minute of QB tape

Fwiw a couple names I remember see they interviewed at HB are Isaiah Spiller and Kenneth Walker

- Is Perrion Winfrey more of what we have been drafting on day 2 at DT, or is he better?
more of the same we have been drafting

both a safe and Woods
- Name one DE that will likely be drafted between 20-60 that you can see having more than 7 sacks as a rookie. Now name one that you can see having fewer than 3
Demarvin Leal for both -- all depends on where he goes and what he is asked to do

no -- at least not a top 15 type QB
See above

- Kaiir Elam is avaliable at 56: Sprint to the podium or bigger needs?
Elam is expected to go mid 2nd. Getting him at #56 is probably not a big enough 'value' to pick him over players on the same talent tier at other positions.
- The Cowboys have 3 returning veteran starters at CB, put last years draft picks at CB in the 2nd and 3rd.
- Even if KJ is not an option, they still have starters plus some depth.'
- CB is a position where I would look for a high ceiling type player that needs a year to develop (A player like Tariq Woolen if he is available in the 4th).

- Which player that could be avaliable to Dallas on both sides of the ball have the biggest 2022 impact?
Travis Jones or Zion.

- Which player that could be avaliable to Dallas on both sides of the ball have the biggest long term impact?
Long Term: Tyler Smith is very young and has uber elite physical ability.

- Dallas talked to a few day 2 caliber HB's at the combine. What day projected day 2 HB do you see lasting until the 4th?
RB: Wait until next year or draft a traits guy late.

- If Dallas trades down, what player or position do you see our trading partner targeting ?
There are many players that might make it to #24 but not to the last 1st or early 2nd.
Jameson Williams
Linderbaum
Wyatt or Davis
Dax Hill
The 3rd or possibly 2nd CB.
Devi Lloyd.
Nakobe Dean
A pass rusher that some teams loves but that the Cowboys wouldn't draft in the 1st (Mafe, etc..).

- Trading up in the 2nd got mentioned a couple times in the debate thread, who would you consider trading up for in the 2nd?
Travis Jones
Tyler Smith
OG Green

- Is Perrion Winfrey more of what we have been drafting on day 2 at DT, or is he better?
Very good player. He is 6-4 with very long arms. A longer, lighter weight version of Gallimore.

- TE: Safe pick like Ruckert or Otton, or swing for the fences with Woods?
Are they all available in the 3rd?
Otton might end up having the best career of any TE in this draft.
Woods in the 3rd does not seem like a big risk.

For TE's all seem around 3rdish. Ruckert has gotten mocked in the 2nd some, and Ive seen Otton in the 4th. But all 3 seem to about 3rd round value. Projecting picks between 60-100 can turn into a flavor thing sometimes

- If Dallas trades down, what player or position do you see our trading partner targeting ?
  • Wide receiver, I don't see Buffallo interested in QB so doubt they'll come to us to jump them

- Trading up in the 2nd got mentioned a couple times in the debate thread, who would you consider trading up for in the 2nd?
  • Green, Zion, Linderbaum, Burks, Watson, Dotson, Pickens, Lloyd, Dean

- Is Perrion Winfrey more of what we have been drafting on day 2 at DT, or is he better?
  • A slightly better version of the DT's we've been drafting day 2. I wouldn't be interested

- TE: Safe pick like Ruckert or Otton, or swing for the fences with Woods?
  • Woods because he can block and his athleticism should translate

- Name one DE that will likely be drafted between 20-60 that you can see having more than 7 sacks as a rookie. Now name one that you can see having fewer than 3
  • Bonnito more than 7 (but really I don't think anybody)
  • Ojabo fewer than 3

- Do you think Sam Howell has a legitimate chance to become an NFL starting QB[/QUOTE]
  • Hard to say because I haven't watch QB's closely but his arm is impressive and he seems to control the LOS pre-snap so I would lean towards him having a chance.
