I think that depends on how much it cost in FA. IF the boys can land Coleman on the cheap, I think they will and still draft one to groom. However, if they go overboard and sign someone like Hope,, i doubt they draft one. I wouldn't leave that position to a rookie again this year. Well not if they are serious aboutmaking a run at the SB this year.

Was interested in Hope (26)--stats showed him w/more tackles/INTs than Palamou, BUT unk NFL official supposedly said there no NFL interest because he can't tackle, slow & dumb - ouch. But if he so dumb, why he starting for Steelers? He's visited Titans & on way to SF?

Not many FSs still available: Milloy's around 33; cut by Bills--he'd cost them $1.5M against cap in 06. If he has anything left/could get him cheap for 1-2 years, we should sign him--better option then Marcus Coleman--but draft FS with potential/smarts to learn behind Milloy & then start in 1-2 years. Doubt we spend first or 2nd round pick on FS if we haven't already filled OLB & RT needs. That's why I would have liked to see us sign a young RT in FA--if he talented enough to be our starter for years down the road or a Fabini for just 1-2 years if we think any of our older stable of OTs could start in few years.
