Granted it took me about 10 minutes to put this staff together so it may have some holes (Ray Horton coaching under Norv)... but I was bored!!!

I'm sure Jerry couldnt do much better!!!

Roger Craig as RB coach? Are you kidding me? I would make Shanahan the QB and RB coach. How many times has he taken a good RB and made him a 1K yard rusher? Craig just happened to be on good teams. Now that Tiki has retired, I think he'd be my RB coach.

Did you ever see Roger Craig?

He was always ripped....a physical speciman.....he could run, he could block, he could catch, and even throw.

Being in the WCO so long (along with Walsh and Shanahan) he knows the system and he knows what is expected of the backs. This is my dream staff and therefore he is my RB coach.

It is also why Jerry Rice is my WR coach. He knows the WCO and his workout routine was brutal. So I know he would put our WRs through hell and back and they would be ready to play week in and week out.

I thought about Dwight Clark for TE coach, but after THE CATCH...he and Montana can kiss my DONKEY

Why replace Palmer as QB coach? He is excellent. What is wrong with trusting Tony Sparano with the OC duties? He can handle it.
Ken Norton would be a nice LB addition to help out Vincent Brown.

Enough of this Hoffman stuff, he's gone.

The team needs a HC and DC and Joe ain't gonna be the SC,

Roger Craig was on a good team but nobody, and I mean nobody, played bigger in big games than Craig. I watch his entire career from my den in San Jose, CA. and he was great. His fumble in that Championship game led to his dismissal from the 49ers, and I imagine the hit had taken a toll on his body. By the same token, Ron Dayne played smaller in big games than anyone I can think of a "quality" I first noticed when he was in college...

I'm thinking very realistically...

HC: Wade Phillips
Asst HC: Tony Sparano

OC/QB: Jason Garrett
WR: Todd Haley
OL: Tony Sparano
RB: Maurice Carthon (Like it or not, he's out of a job; and Julius was awesome when Mo was around)
TE: Freddie Kitchens

DC: Todd Bowles (Wade will be running Defense anyway)
DL: Kacy Rodgers
LB: Paul Pasqualoni
DB: Mike MacIntyre

If JJ is married to 3-4 has he stated, this is the coaching staff I might go after:

HC-Wade Phillips 3yr contract Max.
DC Ron Rivera- Contract with the bears is up after the SB
OC- Tony S
QB- Chris Palmer

This is doable. This would give us a young HC prospect on the staff, and after working with Phillips for a couple of years, he would be schooled in some great D schemes, Jim Johnson's D, Dungy's D and the 3-4. It would also let the Offensive side of the ball, and the development of Romo, be continued with Coach's that know him and he trust.

My 1st choice is still Rivera has HC with a 3-4 DC but I dont know how realistic it is at this point.
