Drew Brees (shoulder) will visit with noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews today.
The quarterback said Monday he expects to have surgery later this week either in Alabama or San Diego. Rich Gannon, who had the same surgery, said that Brees will be able to come back as strong as ever next year. Gannon was 38 when he had the operation, Brees is not even 27. He'll face about four to six months of recovery afterwards.
