Drew Henson to join Yankees as minor league hitting coach

Good for Drew. Always liked him (I'm from Michigan). He just didn't have it.

Jerry the genius!

He was a perfectly good use of a draft pick. Lots of teams were high on him. He had reasonable credentials. He might have had an unorthodox route to the NFL, but it was not unreasonable to think he could be a good quartback. To pretend otherwise reeks of agenda.

Thank it wasn't a pitching coach. His throwing motion is horrible. :D that ought to kick up some old dust.

Wasn't hitting Henson's problem?

Ahhh the great Drew Henson. What a hype machine that followed that guy. You would have thunk he was like Bo Jackson and the great #21.

If Henson had picked football over baseball, he most certainly would have been the first pick. He had all the tools but being away from the game for so long hurt him.

Too bad but I'm glad we didn't spend years with him as QB waiting for him develop. And I firmly believe that if Jerry had his way, Henson would have been starting, Romo would be playing elsewhere and we'd still be looking for a QB.
