Drew, the Blitz & the cure...

I have a question?

Why cant we burn teams when they blitz us or come with lots of pressure.
We see Qb's burn opposing D's all the time.

I think instead of worrying and trying to protect Bledsoe, lets start moving the chains.

Make them sorry they even thought about Blitzing or sending the D in full blast. Whether its 4, 5 or however many?

Actually, they were burning teams earlier on in the year. And you probably guessed it, that was when Flozell was healthy.

They burned the hell out of SD when they blitzed. Burned SF quite frequently when they blitzed. Absolutely torched the Eagles in the first game and even torched the Giants in the first game (unfortunately, they kept fumbling the ball)

But, Flozell got hurt and so did Crayton. Two key factors against the blitz. Flozell was even bigger because not only did he protect against Bledsoe, he also allowed Witten to run more passing routes. So essentially they lost to weapons against the run when Flozell went down.

And out of all of those games that they torched the blitz, they were able to do so without running the ball very well (except for the Philly game where they ran the ball great).

Rich.......

Because Bledsoe Never looks to his running backs when the blitz comes...he still looks down field, backpeddaling. More and more teams are jumping the underneath routes by WRs when the blitz comes, even making INTS as a result because they know exactly where the QB is going with the ball in the face of a clean blitz. The best play is to dump it to a RB behind the line in the flats and let them do what they get paid to do...run and make someone miss....but Bledsoe ignores his RBs for the most part.

Wayne even whrn Bledose throws to the rb in the flat on a design play I see way to many balls that make the rb jump way in the air or Bledsoe throws the ball behind them so the pursuit is there so again Bledsoe kills that play

So once again Bledsoe is a limted QB but it is everyone else fault
