Three simulators:

NFL Mock Draft Simulator | NFL Mock Draft Database

2024 NFL Mock Draft Simulator With Free Trades - Pro Football Network

2024 NFL Mock Draft Simulator | PFF

No trades, just make the picks. The three sites are not in agreement yet on the Cowboys total amount of draft picks.

For the record, I have the Cowboys with the following picks:

1

2

3

4 to San Francisco – Trey Lance

5 to Kansas City – Eric Scott

6 to Buffalo (via Houston) - Brandon Cooks

7a from Las Vegas – Jonathan Hankins

7b

A few sites have the Cowboys getting two 6th round compensatory picks. Overthecap.com has them getting a 5th (McGovern), a 6th (Schultz), and a 7th (Noah Brown).

I’ll take the first draft. Absolutely love the first 3 picks. Please for the love of the football gods let that be our draft. Williams, Davis, and Carter is just icing on the cake.

Absolutely unrealistic
The only one remotely possible is the first one.
And Cooper Beebe is going at the top of the 2nd round.
Tyler Guyton is getting first round talk now.

Not sure. Solid player but may be maxed out already. I can see anywhere 2nd round to 4th round for him.
Tyler Guyton is getting first round talk now.
Agreed. I don't control where the players are in the simulators. Two of the sites currently have him in that range. That will change soon. It came down to Guytona nd your guy Sweat at that pick. Couldn't pass up on Guyton as much as I would love Sweat in the late 2nd.

Jim Nagy said he thought Guyton is the highest ranked prospect at the Senior Bowl and compared him to Tyron Smith.

OL is such a need. Biadasz is a free agent. Tyron is a free agent and may retire, Steele is not the guy they thought he was when they rushed that extension. Luckily, this upcoming draft is loaded with OL.

Traded down 2 Spots with the Ravens and got an additional 3rd, 5th and 7th ol.

Fixed the O-Line and Running Game with that Draft.

That haul in would be beyond crazy.

Traded our 2nd for two 3rds with the Vikings

  • 30.
    Kingsley Suamataia
    OT BYU
  • 79.
    Zach Frazier
    OC West Virginia
    trade icon
  • 81.
    Edgerrin Cooper
    LB Texas A&M
    trade icon
  • 93.
    Bucky Irving
    RB Oregon
  • 222.

Would be an okay Draft, also fixed the O-Line.

Here you can only do 3 Rounds.

30.
Troy Fautanu
OT | Washington

61.
T'Vondre Sweat
DT | Texas

93.
Blake Corum
RB | Michigan

Highly unrealistic as Sweat and Corum will likely go a round earlier.

King didn't make trades but I did:

NFL MOCK DRAFT SIMULATOR:

36 - Suamataia, OT, BUY *** traded 30 for 36, 67, 102 and 219 - seems like a massive overpay but whatever I took it ***
61 - Trotter Jr, LB, Clemson
67 - Van Pran, OC/OG, UGA
93 - Williams, DT, Ohio St
102 - Corum, TB, UM
172 - Ford, LB, Texas
211 - Sheppard, CB, Maryland
219 - Ceasar, DE, Houston
226 - Watts, S, ND
202 - Schrader, TB, Missouri

Unreasonable mock but if it came to pass, I'd take this one.

PRO FOOTBALL NETWORK

26 - Mims, OT
61 - Taylor, DT, Miami
98 - Estime, TB, ND
201 - Knight, LB, UTEP
222 - Solomon, DE, Troy

Hate this draft. Estime in the 3rd seems like a reach but the board was wasted at that point.

I didn't do PFF as I don't really like it.

Was Gilmore a 5th rounder from this coming draft?

Anyway, it's gonna be a rough draft. Dallas will need to hit on their top 3 picks.

Eric Scott Jr. trade is looking bad.

I assume we get a 6th comp round pick in there somewhere.

But I am totally on board with moving down to add a couple more picks. Like I'd consider moving our first rounder to slide a few spots and maybe pick up a 3rd and 4th or 5th, for example. I think there is going to be some intriguing players in the 35-42 range that aren't much different than if we were picking 29th or 30th.
