Three simulators:

NFL Mock Draft Simulator | NFL Mock Draft Database

2024 NFL Mock Draft Simulator With Free Trades - Pro Football Network

2024 NFL Mock Draft Simulator | PFF

No trades, just make the picks. The three sites are not in agreement yet on the Cowboys total amount of draft picks.

For the record, I have the Cowboys with the following picks:

1
2
3
4 to San Francisco – Trey Lance
5 to Kansas City – Eric Scott
6 to Buffalo (via Houston) - Brandon Cooks

7a from Las Vegas – Jonathan Hankins
7b

A few sites have the Cowboys getting two 6th round compensatory picks. Overthecap.com has them getting a 5th (McGovern), a 6th (Schultz), and a 7th (Noah Brown).

PFF appears to have the Cowboys with all their picks. They will adjust that as we get closer to the draft.

Odd how two of the mocks have us taking Guyton but one has it as a C- and the other A+

And … lol … pick 241 gets an F!

I used the first one and I don’t like to make trades so I can make it somewhat realistic

(24) Jackson Powers-Johnson IOL A
(56) Edgerrin Cooper LB B+
(87) Ruke Orhorhoro DT A+
(172) Roger Rosengarten OT A+
(212) Gabe Hall DT A+
(230) Brennen Jackson DE A
(241) Emani Bailey RB A+

I feel this was very generous and would never happen lol

Call me crazy but I like Tyler Guyton more than I like Mims and even Joe Alt. That sounds insane, but Guytons anchor is insane. Go watch Joe Alt tape. He’s got better technique than Guyton for sure, but look how quickly he gets walked backwards. Guyton literally doesn’t seem to move when he gets rushed, like he’s made of concrete.

I’d rather teach a guy with a naturally great anchor better hand technique, than the other way around. See Tyler Biadisz for an example of good technique but a weak anchor

If they drafted Tyler Guyton, where would he play?

I am taking the PFN one. Fuaga, Sweat, Wilson, Booker are great picks

What do you do with Steele? Guyton could play left tackle.
He hasn’t played right tackle (to my knowledge) and projects best at RT. Unsure if he makes the move successfully / attempts it

He played right tackle at OU because they had a left handed qb.

The NFL Draft Database mock without a doubt.
