im a pretty big nintendo fan so i didnt really pay much attention to today's stuff. But id say from what i saw/read, microsoft was pretty weak, aside from gears of war and a small clip for halo 4, all they talked about was kinect, pretty lame.

sony was pretty good, the biggest surprise was the price for the vita, i really thought it would be 400 or 500 dollars, but 250 is kind of worrisome, as a 3ds owner, that i wont get good games outside of nintendo content.

i am really exited about tomorrow, i hope the new nintendo system will be epic!

The only big surprise is the Vita being 250.

The Vita and the Nintendo Cafe project were already going to be the two stars of the show. Dont expect that to change.

MS was kinda surprising, I guess, at how tame their conference was. The only real surprise wasn't even a surprise: Halo 4. I think we all knew that MasterChief Halo was coming back somehow.

i think they dont do it because they are afraid it might take away from current generation games (a lot of people prefer smash bros melee over brawl, for instance)

but i do wish they would do it, mario kart 64 battle mode online would be epic!

exactly, a halo game comes out like clockwork every 2-3 years so its as surprising as a modern warfare game coming out.

I know the cafe is gonna be GREAT! the big thing that concerns me is the aforementioned online. even if they have to charge, i wish it was like xbox live, its online perfected. i mainly want no more friend codes, just 1 username for all games, plus the ability to chat with someone no matter what game you are playing

To me that just makes me more skeptical, been like 2 years since their first CG trailer and they're still just showing CG trailers

Mass Effect 3 looked pretty good but that was pretty much expected

Battlefield 3 tank trailer was really cool

Nice to finally see something from Dust 514, people where beginning to speculate if it was canceled. I'm a big fan of the Eve universe and play Eve quite a bit so I've been excited about the potential of this for quite some time now.

This Eve trailer from a few months back does a better job of explaining what they're trying to do with these 2 game

TOR has 2 different playable planets at E3 and raid content. The trailer is just there to look cool, it's not as though they aren't showing the actual gameplay. The game looks fantastic, and is still on schedule to come out the 2nd half of the year. I'm thinking it's probably a November or December release at this point.

I'm really excited to see BF3 but they didn't show any console play, I don't think.

MW3 looks like the COD series has taken on the Madden role in FPS.

Same general game with minor changes. But I think I can handle that because MW2 was a good game outside of a few of the stupid aspects like the grenade launcher, commando and the rampant cheating.

Halo 4 can get bent. That series took a huge drop after Halo 3 did which brings me to the most exciting news I've heard so far.

Halo: Combat Evolved 10th Anniversary Remake.

This game could be the game that takes over the FPS market. Straight gun-on-gun combat without stupid perks, abilities and ridiculous weapon selections. Give me a game where everyone starts with the same gun and you have to earn the power weapons.

Definitely most excited to see how this game turns out.

So what does everyone think about the Wii U? I think it was as shocking as when they showed the Wii. They only showed the controller but the possibilities are pretty amazing. Why they tried to obscure the console part who knows, but there is an actual console too.

You can see the console in some of the demo vids. But of course the highlight is the controller, which looks way too big and awkward to me. I don't want a full scale tablet for a controller. I bet they make it smaller for the launch next year. The Zelda tech demo BLEW. ME. AWAY. Nintendo says that they can make Zelda look like Uncharted. When, and if, they do that it will be the greatest game ever. But yeah, despite the controller I really want one. Just hoping it isn't 600 bucks.

And to the post above, yes Skyrim will be mind-boggling awesome and will definitely be game of the year. Even though I am just a tad more excited for Gears of War 3, Skyrim is the one to defeat all others.

Game looks a lot smoother and less robotic. Hate when that guy ran back 20 yards to throw though, one thing I wish EA would fix.

The early video of Skyrim looks pretty good and if you like RPGs i would have to recommend the Witcher 2 which gets my early vote for game of the year.

Well see. Looks to be one of those things where they would really have to rack their brains to think of ways to utilize the technology.

But I will say that the more different electronics you can connect the closer you are to tapping into what the future will be like
