What the heck was all this hype about all offseason/TC?!?

All we heard was, "The Eagles have the BEST secondary in the league", "Sheldon Brown will have the luxury of playing in the slot more", blah, blah, blah...

Oh BTW-another boneheaded move by the Eagles FO...Lito's trade value was ALOT higher in the offseason/TC...looks like they'll be lucky just to get a 7th rounder or so from him.:laugh1:

They ran into a buzz saw called the Dallas Cowboys offense. We brought 'em back down to Earth. We didn't play a perfect game, but we aint St. Louis either. The Eagles know that now.

A good WR crew will always beat a good secondary crew if they can't get a good pass rush. That's just how it is.

Lito and Brown both played alright considering the opposition. I thought Samuel was the only one who struggled at times.

Those three Pro Bowl cornerbacks needed so much help over the top that it left the deep middle wide open for Jason Witten.

FYI-TO has been Lito's ***** since he changed teams.

That's only because they roll the safety over to help Lito. When they don't do that he gets burnt. It's a lot easier to cover when you have that safety coverage. See 1st half versus second half tonight.

Dallas looked foolish at times with their own injuries and lack of a pass rush on McNabb.

Gotta fix that in a hurry.

Green Bay has big score potential, i don't want shoot outs every week.

Remember, their last 14 against Detroit were INT returns. We have a better offence than Green Bay and I think our defence is as good.

We should win for the first time at Green Bay

McNabb looked like he was running for his life most of the night. He had a few plays when he wasn't pressured, but he was sacked four times, scrambled three times and was flushed out of the pocket a bunch of other times. He probably eluded four sacks just when we couldn't bring him down.

Compare that to Romo, who was never sacked, never scrambled and had to evade a sack only once, maybe twice.

Both secondaries looked like steaming piles of doggy doo.

I am just glad that the Filthy WRs had a severe case of the drops....cause they were wide open almost all night.

Dallas gave the Filthy secondary complete fits. We actually got pressure on McNabb tonight, but he kept getting away and then found so many ways to burn us.

If I were to grade the Eagles secondary..........D
If I were to grade the Cowboys secondary.........D

but that is to be expected when you have two teams with awesome QBs, surrounded by playmakers, and very good pass blocking OLs.

Well those whiffed sacks were costly and stuck out in my mind.

That still doesn't explain why you thought we lacked a pass rush against McNabb.

Sure it does, he had open wideouts galore and escaped arm grabs at key times, that stuck out in my mind as poor pressure.

Perhaps the stats look better than the real time game did but watching the affair was frustrating.

If that's the case, I want us to trade a 7th rounder for him right now.
