Jackson carted off with leg injury
By Sal Paolantonio

PHILADELPHIA -- Eagles starting free safety Marlin Jackson appeared to suffer a serious injury to his right leg at practice Tuesday.
Jackson, who has a history of knee injuries, had to be taken off the field in a cart. The Eagles are officially calling Jackson's injury a right ankle injury.
Jackson, who left the Indianapolis Colts to sign with the Eagles in March, suffered season-ending knee injuries the past two seasons and had surgery on both knees.
He missed the second half of 2008 with a torn ACL in his right knee and tore the ACL in his left knee in 2009.
Sal Paolantonio is an NFL reporter for ESPN.

Eagles say Marlin Jackson ruptured an Achilles tendon
Posted by Mike Florio on June 1, 2010 5:18 PM ET
Silva pointed out earlier today that Eagles cornerback Marlin Jackson suffered a potentially serious leg injury during practice on Tuesday.

And it indeed turned out to be serious.

Jackson has ruptured the Achilles tendon in his right leg. The team announced the diagnosis after an MRI confirmed the injury.

Jackson possibly will be placed on injured reserve. Last month, Steelers receiver Limas Sweed suffered a similar injury, and not long thereafter he was shelved for the entire season.

The alternative would be to place Jackson on the Physically Unable to Perform list at the start of the season, and then to assess the situation in the window that opens in Week 6 to activate the player for up to three weeks of practice before determining whether he'll be added to the active roster or placed on injured reserve.

It's not hard at all. I love it. Not that the players are injured but because it upsets their fans..and well..that's just priceless.

Screw them. Justice at it's finest.

P.s..who's the guy on the left in your sig?

Yeah, I guess we're going to see how great the great Nate Allen is for them.

And that's CuJo on the left.

Tough luck on an already soft secondary. Not sure how much they were relying on Jackson though, considering his injury history.
