Eagles Schedule - This game could be huge for the division

I know it is just 5 weeks into the season but looking at their schedule at this point they would be favored in every game. The Packers and us are the hardest teams left on their schedule. We are already a game down and if we lose I would be shocked if they lose more than 2 games this year.

No, it's not. That team was 2-5 after 7 games!

The Eagles will slow down. 12-5 or 13-4 are real possibilities with their schedule but our remaining schedule isn’t that bad. We’ll need to sweep them to win the division this season.

You could try and make the same argument with the cowboys. Is this not the same defense that was down 30-0 to the Broncos last year?

Most of the teams on both the Cowboys and Eagles schedules are pretty lame this year. But be careful. Some teams that start hot cool off, and some start slow and become dominant in the later half of the season. Injuries will always play a big part of the second half of the season.

Dallas toughest games left, on paper, to this point. GB, Minnesota, Philly 2 times, NYG.
Philly toughest games left, GB, Dallas twice, NYG twice.

A lot can change over the next few months.

So this is a huge game coming up. But it does not mean doom and gloom to lose, nor a NFCE divisional title to win.

NYG have Baltimore, even Seattle looking better than many thought, Dallas and Philly twice and Minnesota.
