Actually, it isn't one player for me, it's the entire offensive line. I thought it would be HORRIBLE after the preseason, I'm pleasantly surprised.

Bradie James. Not only is he calling a great game defensively but he's making big plays at crucial times.

I am going to have to go with TO.

The guy is a winner.

He made himself what he is today. A great WR.
He is a complete HOG when the ball is in the air and sent his way.

He totallty zone and wants the endzone when the ball is in his hands. (did you see the catch he made on sunday where he stopped and was looking for a defender to juke, a hole to hit.

He outstretches when ball isnt close enough for him to pull it in and makes a non-play almost into a play.

I love his drive, determination and intensity. I love me some TO.

I agree. The way the offensive line has come around is actually the only major surprise thus far. Your offensive line is one of the most important parts of a team.

Terry Glenn and Roy Williams

I don't understand. Both of these players have proven they can play like they are right now in past seasons. How does their current play surprise you?

Matt McBriar.

Seriously.

I beleive you. I knew he could boom it, but it's always surprising that he can consistently boom it the way he does.

Gurode has impressed me the most.

Second would be Kosier, i was optimistic about him from the start, thought he would allow us to do a lot of different things with the running game, was not sure about pass blocking but he has been playing well.

There are plenty of other guys on offense that are playing great, but we already that they could perform at a high level.

Hardly anyone has mentioned it, but I think Marcus Spears is really stepping up. You can tell he worked hard in the weight room in the offseason, and his increased strength along with his natural athleticism is finally showing up big, IMO.

Honorable mention goes to Colombo. I thought he might just be a servicable starter, especially after the Jax game, but he's been better than that the last two games.

I'll second this - this was my first reaction to the question as well.

Bill Parcells. empty back field, 1 back formations, bunch formations, 2 TE formations. No more 3 yard and a cloud of dust offense.

He has handled all the characters on this team as well as the mediots during the onslaught of bs questions.

From an individual standpoint, Pat Watkins. (Undervalued) 5th round pick, gets the nod to start as a rookie, and is currently tied with Ayodele for most total tackles and he has the most solo tackles. I thought LBs were supposed to be tackle leaders. Also 3 PDs and a FF. This kid is going to be something special.

Also McBriar gets a nod.

there are four that come to mind quickly:

TO = This guy just puts Defensive Coordinators into frenzies. They dont want him to have the long TD catch, so they double cover him. Look what it has done for Glenn this year. Witten is getting a lot of extra catches. And julius jones is getting a bunch of yards with no more 8 man fronts.

Pat Watkins = This guy is going to be a stud. He already looks like a veteran after 3 pro games. Look for him to be very solid as time goes on.

Mat McBriar = Outstanding...

O-Line = Just dominating...

Chris Canty... I don't think the DL would be what it is without him... I guess you'd have to give props to Ferguson too... NT is what it is... a non-glorious position, but I sure like it when Canty crashes the running game in the oppositions backfield.

Marc Colombo - While I was always rooting for him, I didn't expect him to step up this year. He is playing well and if he keeps it up we better resign him, as I think we signed him to a two year contract last year.

Pat Watkins - He's making plays and has been able to start right away. Can't get much better from a 5th rounder, especially after we paid Keith Davis to stick around.

I will not be homer this time with Pat watkins so i will select McBrair
