This won't be popular with some people, I suppose. But playing a division rival, with a significant portion of the Dallas defense calling out sick. Overcoming a lackluster first half and being behind. Then scrapping to take the lead, then compound it. The last gasp TD didn't mean a thing for the Giants.

It probably wasn't as much fun as the Minny game, but to me it was also the more impressive win. A show of character. A proof that Kellen can adapt, an example of how to utilize Dak and this offense properly right after having shown how not to do it.

This was a game I don’t think the Cowboys would have won last season. They got behind early to a good team. They kept shooting themselves in the foot with costly penalties and had a couple of turnovers. McCarthy made a terrible coaching decision on fourth down early in the game, giving the Giants the ball in Cowboys territory. It was a tale of two half’s for the Cowboys. They overcame a number of mistakes to come from behind and win in the second half. It was an encouraging sign that they were able to adjust and come back in the second half. However, the penalties and McCarthy’s questionable coaching decisions are eventually going to catch up with us. You’re not going to get away with those kind of mistakes in the playoffs.
