It is time for our team to play smart, disciplined and their best ball.

I , for one, will not be satisfied unless the level of effort in EVERY game from here on out is on par to win a playoff game. I wish our coaches or team leaders would make the same pact with the players.

now what does that mean?
1. it means I do not want to see passes intercepted from throwing into triple coverage.
2. I do nnot want to see penalties that cause us to have to drive 150 yards for a TD instead of 75.

both of these are mental mistakes that can be rectified.

who agrees or disagrees and why?

We’ve definitely been a little erratic on offense at times, penalties, int’s, etc but at the same when we turn it on we can turn it on. We’re going to be a tough out if we can play with all three phases. Mike and company have done a fantastic job.

Disagree. You can't be at 100% all the time. And as far as effort level goes... they just proved they can dig themselves out of a deep hole. Being able to do that within a game is more important than trying to achieve a flawless one which only happens once or twice a season. Had one last week.

Consistency is the hardest thing to get right in this league. Don't need it now but in January.

As much as this crowd likes to hate on big Mike, I don't recall a single game since he took over where a lack of effort was displayed. X's and O's have been a problem here and there, but team intensity has been a huge positive under MM.

I agree with you on consistency, but discipline is what every game takes. You can't expect to win games with turnovers from throwing into triple coverage or forcing yourself to have to drive over 100 yards for a TD.

What happens if you're not satisfied with their level of effort? I'm not sure they can handle another strongly worded post on Cowboys Zone.

I'm sure they can. but what I am talking about is a big part of how we won our 3 90's superbowls.

if y'all aren't in for that then it is what it is I guess.

I don't believe effort is the issue. These guys are all giving maximum effort. I don't see guys not trying out there.

It's all about execution and consistency. Too many pre-snap penalties. Especially at home. Their minds seem to wonder sometimes. Can be frustrating to watch.

But the offense is still getting results. Since Dak's return, they are at or near the top in most offensive categories.

They had a lackluster game at GB, came out flat as usual after a bye week. And was missing Zeke. I still, truly believe he would have made a difference in at game.
So they bounce back, have a near perfect game at the Vikings.
Then start out slow after 3 days off against a division rival. That was actually expected. I did not expect a near perfect blowout game.

This could have been a good type of win, where you know you have work to do, and to improve. Use the next 3 games and get thing corrected and to get to being more consistent for that playoff run and getting hot going into the playoffs.

I don't think we seen this team get hot yet other than 1 game at the Vikings. But need to be playing near that leave the last 3 games going into the playoffs.
Don't peak too soon.
