It’s what you need to win in this league. You can win with one or the other and we have neither! Think about that for a second we don’t have either. And now we’re gonna probably lose Quinn.

How JJ can just run it back with this same group is mind boggling. They do not have what it takes to get over the hump.

Has he not learned anything from keeping garret for 10 years?

Big Mike is better than Garret but that is not saying much. He didn't do much with a good Packers team except one year. Dak, well he isn't a good QB so they are screwed there.

Based on what exactly?

He's already said he is happy and would like to stay with the Cowboys.
Quinn will be a HC next year. You had better wrap your head around that.

JJ will ride an average HC and a below avg QB into another season next year. The Cowboys will make no noise in the playoffs again.

rinse. repeat.

Thats why I'm an advocate of bringing in Sean Peyton, and trading a pick for him. At the very least he isn't a puppet. He's a qb guru. Sean Peyton commands respect, he would change the culture. MM just sits there and gave up his play calling duties to KM when he got here.

The qb isn't changing for 2 years, if I'm jerry I'm getting the best coach possible. Not running this back with the same coach and qb combo.

An elite coach can elevate this team in my opinion. This teams ceiling is divisional round. We need to do better.

Totally agree. The positional triangle to NFL success is outstanding GM, HC and QB performance.
One could argue all three current Dallas titleholders of these positions are lacking.

Then how come the Niners keep winning with a rookie low draft pick?

The NFL is about TEAM. The better team won today.

I don't care where he was drafted. The rookie QB didn't hurt his team with turnovers. Dak did and it was the difference in the game.

The Niners got 6 points off those turnovers and one was in the red zone, costing Dallas points. Seven point loss, ball game.

Not true. Purdy threw two easy picks that basically were dropped. Is it Daks fault that Diggs cant make pick that is basically bouncing off his stomach?

Purdy didnt do squat because he didnt have to. His defense basically won the game for him all on their own.

They have an elite level head coach. Who is heavily involved in the offense of his team.

We have a head coach who basically does nothing. Defense to a guy in kellen Moore who throws the ball on 2nd and 2 before halftime and screws his team.

If we can sense that MM is a puppet, you think the players don't know? Same with garret.

Trade Dak and start Rush. Go back to 5-11 and draft a QB
This is where I am at right now. If they can trade Dak they take a $9 million cap hit but they can make up for half of that by cutting Zeke. I am sorry to see Zeke go but he is not going to take the Cowboys anywhere. We can draft a battering ram in the 4th round to take his place and pay him less than a million per year.

The Eagles won the Super Bowl but then realized Wentz was not the answer. They got rid of him and tried a variety of QBs taking some bad seasons as a result, but look where that got them in a few short years.

The Cowboys, with Dak, have hit the wall. This is it. They are not going further than they went this year. It doesn't matter who they get at RB, or how many WRs they add to the roster. Dak showed tonight that he is limited. He gets tunnel vision in big games and instead of spreading the ball around he zeroes in on 1 or 2 receivers. If they are not open he holds the ball, pumps 3 times and then throws into coverage. Gallup was open on a long pass and Dak threw it behind him. TY Hilton was wide open and Dak threw it to a covered CeeDee. If not for some good fortune Dak would have thrown 4 INTs tonight including another pick 6. I have no idea what Dak's trade value is after tonight but he is not worth $40 million or whatever he asks for in 2025. Stop wasting years on him and let's move on. What team needs a QB badly, the Jets? Call them and ask what they would give for Dak. The Falcons have a lot of CAP space and they need a QB. What about the Texans? They have CAP space and a high draft pick.

The Cowboys need to dump some bad contracts and avoid signing themselves onto new ones. I am really concerned they will give Diggs a big contract but after tonight, I am not sure I want him on my team. I can excuse the dropped INT. The ball was tipped and it surprised Diggs, but not making a play on the Kittle pass that he was bobbling for about 5 minutes was inexcusable. Maybe he does better next year, but I would be very careful about his contract when it comes up.

Dak is the glaring problem, Zeke is the smokescreen problem.........but the main problem is excusing many others or masking it.....OC, OL play, OL coach, LB play, Interior D play, Kicker, Team speed, team depth, and team arrogance in the room.....none that will be addressed at all.
