I selected the 10 RB with the most carries from inside the opponent's 10-yard line, then compared their success rate. A successful run gains at least 40% of the yards needed on 1st down, 60% of yards needed on 2nd down, and 100% of yards needed on 3rd or 4th down.

There was a tie for the 10th-most carries, so the sample includes 11 players.

Success Rate
Rushing Inside 10-yard line

Hunt 72.7% (16 of 22)
McCaffrey 62.5% (10 of 16)
Kamara 60.7% (17 of 28)
Conner 57.8% (11 of 19)
Blount 53.8% (7 of 13)
Gurley 53.1% (17 of 32)
Hyde 50.0% (7 of 14)
Barkley 47.3% (9 of 19)
Michel 46.7% (7 of 15)
Ingram 38.5% (5 of 13)
Elliott 35.3% (6 of 17)

My natural defenses don't want to be associated with the "You like this." now under your sig. And yet Zeke is still in the top 3 RBs each & every week?

Our play calling sucks! His numbers would be much better with a little creativity.

Not another player on that list that I would take over zeke...

And he wins the rushing title again this year. Book it:

Zeke may be having his best season, but there are a lot of working parts that go into numbers like these.

This year, the parts aren't working like they have been.

Huh? He’s 1st in the nfl in rushing through 11 games....parts seem to be working just fine as far as the run game is concerned....passing game different story but improving week by week

It's almost like he "may be having his best season" or something.

I didn't say that....but I did say I wouldn't take him over any of the other rbs on the list and he would win the rushing title...both of which i vehemently stand by.

Zeke is having a very good year but doesn't look like he's going to be better than year one....but a second rushing title in 3 years would be pretty damn i.preasive

So what is your point? our offensive line stinks? ...Not enough carries? Elliott has no nose for the endzone?

Honestly..I don't care about the %...feed the kid inside the 5 the football...:banghead:

They need to get Rico involved.

Seriously though, N. Brown would be a perfect candidate for a quick pass play in the redzone. He's a big target and teams already know that we run 99% of the time he's in there. Set him up like he is blocking for a run and then sneak him out on a pass play.

Play action, throw, TD.

Zeke is our most truth worthy guy on offense. Not only does he have great vision, but what i love about him is his awareness. So many times he puts his head down and picks up those 1-2 extra yards on his runs and it makes a huge difference. Guy even with a sub par start (for him) is leading the league in rushing.

I didn't say that....
That was me. I think he's in the best shape of his career, and seems to have his head on right. The only thing he did better in his rookie year was score more TD, and again I'll say that may have nothing to do with Zeke himself.
