I always hear the Giants got on a hot streak to end the season, but when look at their last eight games it tells another story.

Nov 11 - Dallas - L (20-31)
Nov 18 - at Detroit - W (16-10)
Nov 25 - Minnesota - L (17-41)
Dec 2 - at Chicago - W (21-26)
Dec 9 - at Philadelphia - W (16-13)
Dec 16 - Washington - L (10-22)
Dec 23 - at Buffalo - W (38-21)
Dec 29 - New England - L (35-38)

If we win 2 out the next three and get into the playoffs this team can beat anybody.

Umm, this thread could get interesting...

It's not like the team has a choice if it wants to get to the postseason. Just sayin'

I think their hotness came from almost beating the Patriots, even though they choked it away in the fourth like we did yesterday.

Our defence should have a ton of confidence from yesterday, but the offence was putrid.

Actually-the Giants DID finish the season with alot of momentum going into the playoffs.

They started out with 2 road wins against teams that were fighting for their playoff lives as well. They beat a Buffalo team on the road that was playing with lots of emotion with Kevin Everett on the sidelines for the first time since wk1.

As for the Skins loss...different situation-Skins were playing on alot of emotion after Sean Taylor died, and they played tough with New England who had a perfect reg season.

We never played nearly that well in Dec, to be frank.

The way the Cowboys played yesterday, no matter how disappointing the end result, is a start. They could've laid down and gotten beaten by twenty like some of the "experts" said they would. They didn't and instead should've left Pittsburgh with a victory. If they beat the Giants, which is not going to be easy by any means, all bets are off and they have new life.
