And coach k says they want to add two more teams. Would guess wvu Is one. Any idea who else?

If the rumors are true and Texas can keep their deal with ESPN then I would think Texas would make the most sense.

And living here in Tarheel country only makes me salivate even more knowing my beloved team will get local tv coverage in this region.

please let this happen....

I am hearing WVU is headed to the SEC.

Just can all the conferences and start from scratch.

I agree.

As a SU fan since 5 years old, I'm going to miss the Big East, but there was nothing SU could do. It was a great conference when it was just a basketball conference. Great games against teams like Providence, Georgetown, Villanova and others.

I think it would be better if they could re-do every conference instead of having a few super conferences.

The train is rolling and we can't stop it. Word is the ACC wants two more teams to go 16.

Personally, I'm excited about the move. I have a D1 bound (now ACC) kid who gets to compete against the best of the best every week. Hopefully the move begins next season.

Think about TCU...if these teams leave to the ACC, SEC or other conferences...they would have to turn around and move somewhere else as they were slated to start the Big East next season.

They could either return to the MWC or try to join the Big 12 if that conference still exists.

As a MWC fan a conference with:
Boise, TCU, Air Force, Hawaii, Nevada, Fresno, SDSU, Csu, New Mexico, UNLV and Wyoming would be better than the remnants of the Big East. If they add a team like Houston or SMU, then the MWC could be the 6th AQ conference.
