I made this separate thread in addition to the other thread on the same similar topic of "ESPN: Cooper vs Dak" to make everyone realize, the media is playing both sides.

Do not assume the media agrees with your opinion no matter what opinion you have because they are going to find "experts" who support "your" side.

So if Randy Moss gets hurt and his replacement plays decent but nothing to Randy Moss' impact they should just keep the replacement as the starter as long as the team is winning due to the defense? Same logic as dumb as it is.

Rush is doing great as a backup but his limitations are showing. We are winning because of our D and Special Teams has been solid as well.

If we win tonight— great! Enjoy every second of it! Even if Rush throws for 350 yards and 3 TDs— he won’t be starting at QB once Dak is healthy.

If Dak returns, and loses 3 straight— THEN we can start talking about a “controversy”. Until then, this noise just need to stop lol

That was an entertaining conversation, but these guys are all just entertaining. To get ratings these guys are playing both sides. I've said it multiple times but if we play Dak the same way we're playing Rush, we'll be successful. Our defense is winning games and our running game is protecting the QB. Don't change the formula when Dak comes back and we'll be good. Try to call the game like Dak is Mahomes or Peyton Manning then we're in trouble. Dak is not that guy. A healthy Dak using the same gameplan as Rush gets us 10 or 14 more points a game. And I'm not a huge Dak fan but he's the better player than Rush.

Now when Dak comes back and he throws picks and turns the ball over using the same gameplan then we have a whole new conversation.

Yep, Dak is the starter and he'll come back. These conversations are just entertainment debates. See my above post on not changing the team dynamics when he comes back and we'll make some noise. If Dak loses us games with TOs or whatever then we have a real debate. Now it's just entertainment and fun to to talk about. Kind of. It was fun, now it's getting a little old. Let's just move forward when Dak comes back and forget all this noise.

This is Micah's team now. He's the leader, he sets the tone and now the team's dynamics has been reset to Micah's competitiveness. Before we were okay with losing as long as we looked good doing it and selling jerseys. We went from the Hot Boyz mentality to the "if I'm alive I can play" mentality. Micah and Dan Quinn has redefined this team and the QB isn't the leader anymore.
