ESPN: - deal is basically a series of one year deals

With the way the roster bonus' are paid, each March, the Cowboys could terminate the contract like it was a one year deal. So if they wanted out because TO was being a jerk, they could just bail after 1 year and not pay the roster bonus.

It was a great deal for TO. He has no reason to complain under this contract. He is getting paid as long he behaves.
