ESPN: Jamal Lewis TO Cleveland

whats so difficult to understand? are you trying to be obtuse?

they have brought in fraley, Steinback and whover that tackle is they got last year. Now they have brought in Lewsi and although he is not what he was when winning super bowls he is still far better than anything the browns have sniffed in years. that shows a commitment to the running game.

Knowing that the best friend a young QB can have is a running game and them having the third pick makes one think Quinn just might be their choice.

their O line is not so good- the reason they paid so much money for Bentley. Smart move would be to either trade down or if the Lions are dumb enough to pass on Thomas grab him. This does take away a reason to draft Peterson. The Bucs are probably going to grab Johnson. If The lions take Thomas there is a good chance that they either trade down - especially if someone is after Quinn- or take Quinn themselves.

Maybe it was the fact that everything in your post was wrong?

From Bentley's "return" to Stinchcomb's name, to naming the wrong quarterback.

Oh i understand why he said it, but that wasnt my point. Doing that is just as bad as grammar smack. The Bentley error was a product of me not caring about the Browns and the others were simple errors due to commonalities between the subjects at hand. the linemans names and the QBs backgrounds.

Despite all of these errors my intent and theme of the post should have been clear to anyone with a 6th grade reading comprehension. thus my askance as to why the obtuseness. did he really not understand what i was trying to say?

Hey, my apologies....wasn't quite following along there.

This very thing happened to me just the other day. I was telling a guy a story about the last time Dan Marino had led the Broncos to a Super Bowl win over the Niners back in '98...and he's like telling me 'No....Marino didn't play for the Broncos, he played for Green Bay.' And I'm like 'yeah, I knew that, but you know what I mean, quit trying to be so obtuse dude'.

Anyhow, as I was 'splainin', it occured to me the Packers would have won alot more Super Bowls hadn't Bo Jackson had that career ending injury. I'll never forget that, him laying there on the turf in Philadelphia, and all those Eagle fans cheering. I'm like, wow, this guy could have died out there and they're cheering. Well they strapped him to a board and carried him off and the cool thing was, he was still doing cheers with his head taped to the board. Amazing!

But it didn't go over well with Coach Landry...you know how beligerant he could be....when he seen that, he tosses this chair clean across the field....Perhaps he was still a little sore about Sprewell choking him the way he did... It was no wonder he retired before Al Davis could fire him....that time he traded the entire freaking draft for Ricky Williams done him in I think.
