I agree with those who said our O-line is overrated. The shady run blocking and leading all O-lines in penalties the last two years hurts their rank. "False Start" Flozel, "High Snap" Gurode, and "Holdo" Colombo have screwed up a lot of good plays for this offense with their attraction to yellow flags. Top 5, but not #2.



Funny how as soon as Romo stepped into the starting line-up, an O-line that couldnt stop Bledsoe from eating grass turned elite. Sound familiar to the arrival of a Mr. 22 two decades ago? I bet Aikman's 80 concussions thinks so.

One of the most expensive lines, thats for sure. All the guys are on their 2nd or 3rd contract. Run blocking is suspect. Looking forward to see Free break in.

It's debatable, but certainly a reasonable position.

Sacks Allowed
Colombo - 4
Kosier - 3.5

While Kosier has less, I think this actually balances out in favor of Colombo since tackles, on average, allow more sacks.

Penalties
Colombo - 10
Kosier - 3

Clearly balances out in favor of Kosier despite the fact that tackles average more penalties.

Thanks for the stats theogt. I always viewed Kosier as the player on the line that should be upgraded then I would pick Colombo.

I hope the young tackles (McQuistan, Free and Marten) can come on and take a spot in the line-up soon. Especially since Colombo is in the last year of his deal.
