wash, rinse, repeat. why is this a surprise to anyone? we have now gone through this 4 times.....and through it all Jerry has succeeded in his primary goal which is increase franchise value and bottom line.
this to shall pass to higher level of mediocrity. Dak shall leave. people shall celebrate as they did Romo departing. fans take sides. argument are washed, rinsed, repeated.

Having zero expectations makes for a pretty stress free season. Wouldn’t want to be in that spot beyond this season though and I would suspect this is a team that can potentially rebound quickly with a brand new coaching staff and by addressing a few positions in the offseason.

Whether Dak can rebound or if he's now on a downward career trend remains a question mark. Regardless the Cowboys need to think about adding QB insurance for now and the future if an opportunity presents itself in the first couple rounds. The Cowboys remain committed to Dak, but at this point I see Dak as a stop gap until a better option comes along. Much like Dak took Romo's job, maybe something similar is on the horizon for Dak.

It’s just a theory of mine but I think the players quit when Jerry didn’t really go “all in”. I remember Micah talking to Jerry about getting a big run stuffer and other things for the defense. He got none of it.

They did absolutely nothing for the entire offseason. Jerry and his kid are complete garbage and this disaster is all them. The team is just pathetic.

Yup, hopefully it gets so bad that they actually have to make changes
Sadly I don't think it will ever get there. They're fools with no accountability, the absolute worst kind. And to top it off they see nothing wrong or flat out just don't care, not about the players, not about the fans, not about the history of the organization. They made it all about themselves.

I still have hope if it gets bad enough they will do something but it's going to have to be stephen ultimately bc as you stated i think Jerry is all about himself

Season was lost as soon as Jerry said "all in" . And went all nothing. Sometimes you put negative thigs in motion. I just believe that the Ghoul brings misfortune to Dallas. When Jerry is gone. Our luck will change...
That's only if Stephen Jones decides to hire a REAL general manager.

Agreed.

And players are more likely to sit out games when they know the team sucks and is going nowhere.
