How could they not?

Nice defense Gasol.

The King>The garter snake

Lebron would be crying and would stay in the trainers room with the injuries that Kobe is playing with right now. Lebron hasn't won **** and that will continue this year too.

not really a lebron fan (i appreciate his greatness, i just don't care about him) but I'm all aboard the "stomp the lakers" train.

His MVP trophy says hi.

Let's see here, championships or MVP's?

Well you said he hasn't won ****.

He's only 25. Jordan didn't win his first one till he was 31.

And Kobe had arguable the best Center of all time so that's asterisk city.

He didn't win one without him till he was 31 also.

Fair enough. Well see if he can lead a team to a championship.

lol, I gotta admit I missed the insane Lebron-stalking of Slate just a little bit.

The fourth best player on the Lakers would be the 2nd best player on the Cavs. That says all you need to know about that... Kobe has an all-star team, Lebron has an AAU team.

Actually Jordan won one in 91', 92', & 93'. He was born in 1963, thus he won 3 championships before he was 31.

If your talking about MVPs, he won one in 88', 91', and 92'. So he won 3 of those before he was 31.

I've got a lot of respect for LeBron. He had a hard time adjusting his rookie year shooting wise. But he worked hard and the kind of athlete he is, he has become a great player. It's nice to see people like him come into the league and exceed expectations, as high as they were. I think this year the Lakers have a better team, but they've got so much depth. I'd build my team around LeBron before I would Kobe. But when you get guys like Farmar, Vujacic, Odom, and others coming off the bench, you're going to have a lot of depth on your team. Cleveland doesn't have enough role players on that team to get LeBron a championship just yet. But I can just about guarantee that he won't retire without multiple rings.

Lebron looks like he has some teammates that can actually score other than Mo Williams this year. I still can't believe Lebron got that joke of a team to the finals the year they lost to the Spurs.

I can. Look at the East compared to the West. The 1st seed that year (Pistons) would have been the 4th seed in the West. The Cavs would have been the 6th seed in the West. The Pistons were the only team in the way of the Cavs to get to the finals and neither team was very good. And that is why they got swept by the Spurs.

lol at Slate in here telling those lies. Jordan won his first title when he was 28 years old. in his 7th year. This is Mr. James 7th year. Get it done or shut up.
