XBOX's new little motion sensor thing that is coming out.

Kinect or whatever it's called.

Next one will be a chip implanted in your head.

Will be?

I remember buying the Original XBox.. worst controller ever made.

the 360 controllers are far superior to PS3 controllers though. I just like the layout so much more.

The Kinect allows you to use your hands, feet, body, etc as the controller. I have no idea how it will work for games that have too much going on for your body to act as a controller, but for some stuff, it'll be pretty sweet I think.

It would be pretty sweet for 1st person shooter games.

Except the complete lack of any buttons would make it EXTREMELY difficult to tell it when you want to shoot, throw a grenade, look up, look down, move the camera in any direction, etc. I can see how that kinect is gonna be cool for some things, but I believe the lack of buttons to press will make it extremely limited.

Also, I don't console game much at all, but prefer the PS3 controller over the XBOX 360 controller by a pretty wide margin.

Nah, outside of the black and white buttons it wasn't too bad. The S version they made was awful unless you had the hands of a midget.

The N64 was the worst IMO.

I still love "The Bear". The first X-Box controller was the first one I could really use easily because of my huge hands. The PS controller is probably the best designed, but obviously built for Asian hands, especially the first one.

As far as the motion stuff, I'd say all three are fail. They are gimmicks that don't lend themselves well to "real" gaming. They are fun to break out at a party, but that's about it.

I would post the comic, but it's got an adult word in it and I've been slapped on the wrist a couple of times the last couple of weeks for that.

Something I actually agree with you on. Having to switch right hand placement mid-game was ridiculous.

I've always like the PS controllers, but the newer handheld 360 controllers are pretty good too.

This kinect stuff looks odd to me. I don't think I'll like it.

that would be a Longhorn offensive lineman trying to block in NCAA 2010.

:muttley:

...or maybe they've made a game based on the Texans' tailgating experience?
