During an appearance on FS1’s “The Herd,” former Patriots player Julian Edelman dismissed the idea of Belichick joining the Carolina Panthers but instead suggested that he should consider coaching the Dallas Cowboys. Edelman emphasized the Cowboys’ top-tier offensive line and talented roster, suggesting that Belichick’s presence could bring fundamental soundness to the team and improve their performance, especially Considering some of the issues with penalties and clock management that current Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy has faced.

Not gonna happen.

I can see him grabbing McDaniel and heading to the chargers though.
In my opinion the chargers are probably the best option for any coach to go to this coming year I don't know all the openings, but I don't know Washington and the Raiders seem like they don't have a quarterback they need a lot more pieces whoever gets the chargers job should be a pretty quick turnaround IMHO...

All I can remember off the top of my head right now is Raiders Washington and the LA chargers as head coach openings. What others?

I could be mistaken but I’m pretty sure I’ve heard that BB has claimed he would never work for the Jones’

Well I live in Pa and there are rumors swirling that their coach has lost the locker room and is getting fired. There are also rumors of a surprise NFC East shake-up.
Are you trying to convince us that the Philadelphia Eagles are thinking of firing their coach who just took him to a Super Bowl and they're in the playoffs with double digit wins?? I'm pretty sure that's not happening..

Top-tier OL? Belichick isn’t about to work for Jerry. Belichick will want full control of personnel and that will never happen with Jerry.
First of all we're talking about this and Mike McCarthy still has a job and then there was all this talk about Dan Quinn being the next guy,

I don't agree with all that but why not consider the fact that Jerry has at times allowed some dominant head coaches to have more control, not all control but hell there's been problems between Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft everybody wants to sweep that under the rug, but they have fought between keeping Tom Brady replacing Tom Brady and other players over the years...

So, nobody has more control than the owner,

now how much control on any team is the owner wanting to give up? I'd say Jerry did it for a short time with bill Parcells and with this little window of opportunity open if he did decide to get rid of Mike McCarthy I think he might consider Bill Belichick I mean we're right there what team outside the chargers have this much talent and are ready to win a Super Bowl it would be the best choice for any head coach this coming year if that does happen...

So I wouldn't poo poo the idea of Jerry and bill being able to get along for a short time... Both are up in age and probably a little less stubborn as they used to be.. We all know Jerry's window is really small people around here didn't even think Jerry would put Jimmy in the Ring of Honor and he did things are changing so why not think maybe jerryd grown enough to know hey two to four years he could put up with giving up a little alleged control.. In my opinion he's already done so the last five or six years there is a GM by committee with will mcclay leading that pack right now he may not have the title but I believe Jerry's already conceded a bunch more than fans wanted to accept...

Belicheck minions doing his bidding. Disgusting. Just like the jason garrett leaks from losers like Trent Dilfer. Belicheck is a trash coach looking for another payday before its solidified that it was all Tom.

Yep he was a below .500 HC before and after Brady. He led the Browns for five seasons, compiling a record of 36-44-0.

Could definitely see that. Seems like something Roseman would do. And I would not blame Belichick at all for looking for as good a situation as possible. Why would he want to take on a team with an unproven QB since he just went through that?

Yes, ex-players and coaches feel that way, but our fans don't. Fans see the failures of the run game and blame it all on the line. Fans see a few sacks here and there and think the protection sucks. It's almost like they don't watch other offensive lines.
