That's not through 2020, that's through 2019, or next season.

So next off season we're nearly 70mill under, and that's without the yearly cap increase figure. So pretty easily over 70mill in cap space for next year.

For 2020, we're about 140mill under. That's with Tyron, Frederick, Witten, Crawford, T William's, Bailey, C Jones, and all the rookies we drafted last year still under contract.

We good. We can easily sign Martin, Lawrence, and Irving next year while still being 30mill under next year and 100mill under in 2020 (For Dak, Elliott option, etc)

Next year the Cowboys can be players in free agency. Not immediately when the insane overpayment contracts are handed out but immediately after. The questions is, will they?

A few things to note though.

The 2019 cap doesn’t include Martin or Lawrence. So if those two are back in 2019, trim about 20-25MM off that number.

They aren't under contract and there are no signs pointing to any extensions

will be cheaper to sign Martin Lawrence

Need to sign Martin now, see if Lawrence can put together another season like last year and stay healthy before extending him.

We had the money this year .......50m and counting right now with another 30m on the shelf

All we did is tread water(DLaw and Irving) and go backwards(Dez, Hitch, Cooper, OScan, Morris)

There's a new CBA being negotiated in 2020. Can't really predict what the cap will look like then. Likely no change to the current formula, but you never know.

Only if they choose to go heavier on first-year hits. I know it's been a few years, but Tyron Smith's first-year cap hit for his new contract was $5 million. Travis Frederick's was $2.1. Both were a lot bigger the next year, but that was more for the purpose of restructuring.

I would expect both to run Dallas no more than $15 million the first year. (Of course, if we work out new contracts with them this year, next year may be more in the range you mentioned.)

Looks like Mr. Machota intentionally omitted the column that shows how many players are under contract for 2019. As of right now, Dallas has 42 players under contract for 2019. And 13 players under contract for 2020. $67 million is still a lot cap room for 11 contracts, and $119 million for 40 contracts should be more than enough. They do show an estimate of the cap being $190 million for 2019 and $200 million for 2020. It just seems disingenuous of Machota to omit that column.

As Dallas signs and extends players, those 2019 and 2020 numbers will decrease.

They better get proactive at interior defensive line, linebacker, and a top safety.

The draft can still be used for wide receiver and tight end.

If parody is not reached in personnel, a team such as the Rams will be too good for a very long time.
