We had an excellent winning streak, mostly at home, topped off but a dominating win vs the hated Ugles. Then we traveled to Buffalo and looked PATHETIC in EVERY WAY, except our MVP kicker.

Don’t listen to the excuse makers. The game vs the Fins is important! IF WE WANT TO DO ANYTHING in the playoffs we need a win vs the Fins. It doesn’t need to be a dominating win, though that would give me way more confidence going forward, but it does need to be a WIN!!!!!

The players must prove to themselves they can beat a good team on the road!!

All that being said, being a long time realistic fan, and from what I have seen this year, I am not confident we will win.
This team is starting to look like the same team as the last few years. Good enough to make the playoffs, but not good enough to beat a good team on the road in the playoffs. I hope I am wrong AND we go on to kick the crap out of the Fins, get the 2nd seed, and BEAT the hated Whiners in the NFC Championship!!!!!! Then kick butt in the Superbowl!!!!!

People gotta stop writing their posts billboard style. One exclamation mark ain't enough?

I agree with the core message though. It's teams like the Bills or Miami that we face in the play offs. No below 500 victims left. So you either got it or you don't. Would love to see in December that they're ready for January.

Still trying to get past the Bills devastation, but a rebound vs the Dolphins would put us back on track.
Cowboys definitely need this game, dont care about anything else, just win this one on Sunday and we get back in the mind set of winning on the road, that is what is most important.

On Friday's Hanging with the Boys podcast, they had a game call call-in hour, and made comment that it's first time where most of callers predicted opponent would win.

Would say this forum probably the same. We're all cautiously optimistic.

(Edit, nevermind, I just saw the "Pick winner" poll locked thread. We are 50/50 on who wins. More homer...err, optimistic folks here than DC.Com listeners)

Only excuses I'm hearing from team so far are these players who continue to social media the ref blame. So hopefully everyone is ready. I believe they will be.

There are a lot of teams not good enough to beat good teams on the road in the playoffs. In the past ten years I think only three teams that made it to the super bowl weren't a 1st or 2nd seed. Winning multiple road games in the playoffs isn't easy. But I do agree with what I highlighted. This team needs that badly.

yeah, would love to think we could win this game, but as you say it looks to be exact same team year in and year out and that is before the 2 players we will be missing on the oline (would not be a reason to lose for any other team out there so certainly not an excuse for this team to lose at all). Will be hopeful and yes it would say something if they win. They need to.

Spose it's no different from the ones whose entire Cowboys fandom revolves around Dallas losing so they can be fulfilled

You’re not listening.

Most of us, of course, went to win the game, but we are being realistic. We have seen recent history and it is not looking very good at all.

Go Cowboys, please surprise me. Get tough and physical, and get a win on the road, vs a good team! Beat down the Fins!!!!

And the only teams good enough to win on the road in the playoffs aren’t on the road in the playoffs!
