I don't want to bring negativity, because I think we're gonna be real good this year. There's no one on our schedule we can't beat.

But there's also no one on the schedule we can't lose to as well.

In the first five, if we stumble against the G-Men, and lose to Chicago and St. Louis, we're 2-3 facing New England. That's a big hole...

The real question is about mental toughness. The NFL is so close, so much parity, that anything can happen. The ball can bounce the other way (see last years skins game). the question is: Can you bounce back?

I think that's the biggest difference between preseason and the real thing. Right now, our abundance of talent is having fun because the pressure is off. Do you think we have the mental fortitude to do it when the chips are down?

We are just flat out better than the Giants, and an attacking 3-4 will expose Eli.

Ditto that with Grossman...the only way we lose to the Bears is if Lovie wises up and starts Griese.

STL isn't better than us either.

Now we could screw up and beat ourselves, but I'll be shocked if we aren't 5-0 or 4-1 before we beat NE.

I always prepare for the worst, that's what 3 consecutive years of 5-11 will do to you

I have guarded my enthusiasm for Dallas, I learned that lesson last year when they totally flopped!

I think the practical jokes are a good sign of the chemistry beginning to build, and the confidence the players are getting of each other. They are having fun, because, they know they have the talent to succeed, and rather than beat up on each other, they have had two outings where they have played pretty much perfect football against good teams.

I hope you're right--but to paraphrase a Parcells quote--it's what you do after you get knocked down once that really defines you

I can see this team exploding if it gets hit too hard

we are going 11-5

5 losses will be us letting other teams compete cause we didnt wanna go into playoffs 16-0 :)

Let me tell ya something... this is gonna be different... not because I or you or any other fans "hope"....

Things are already different... this team is firing on many cylinders already... (I hear another cylinder kicking in right now)

I expect a potent attacking air offense
I expect a powerful running game.... flat out bruising

I expect the defense to be nasty
I expect that we are currently developing a "killer instinct" already...(just imagine at midseason) fugghedaboudit!

Who better than to link to the past to the future = Garrett and his GCO ;)

As they say that is why you play the games. On paper I think we are as good as any team out there but the game is played on a field not paper. I would agree that mental toughness of a team goes a long way in how a team bounces back after defeat

And dont forget we are the kings of doing that as of late.

I say we win them all.....and all Zoners will be happy.....especially ME!

I was thinking more along the lines of 10-6 and no December fade this time
