Expectation in the Vike game

I expect this week the Dallas will be looking more at the season opener with the Giants than the upcoming game with Minn. I expect to see the starters for 1 qrt and the backups getting the remainder of the game. If we can get out of this last game with no injuries to the starting unit I would consider this a successful pre-season

AD has looked good thus far and should be a good test for the front 7 of the Cowboys.

Exactly. All I want out of this game is a series or two from the starters with no injuries and then tons of backups playing. Our preseason is basically over already.

I agree and would not be suprised if the coaches are starting to work on the game plan this week for the Giants game.

I can see the starters going for 2 series. Now if that takes 5 minutes or 15 minutes, just 2 series. You may see some starters in a little longer, like OL and on D, but that's it.

They are probably already game planning the Giants. But not in practice. They only have one practice before the Viking game.

I just want Romo to get a rest. I read where someone posted that he was having his arm heavily iced ( I know that may be standard procedure). His arm looked a little tired to me Saturday night and I heard they only will have 1 practice from Sat to Thursday so maybe he will get the rest he needs.

I believe his arm is a little tired as well from the looks of that pass to T.O...

There are several players I wouldn't even suit up for this game. Of course us as fans want to see a full blown game by the starters, but if you're the coaching staff, you just want to get this over with.

Other than that I have no expectation. I wouldnt play the starters for more than a series, not this year, guys seem to be getting knicked up.
