With Rogers in as QB ,then McNabb, how come the "D" stopped short of hitting them and they seemed to have all the time in the world back there.

When Tony comes in ,it looks like an all out blitz.:(

I blame Wade for this .

WHY PUT Romo BEHIND GINT PROTECTORS.

I saw payback.:giants:

They did not sack Mcnabb because they knew he would throw them an INT. Why pressure a guy who is that bad, just let him throw it, good things are bound to happen for the defense. :lmao:

They were amazed at Rogers. The dude is great.

They hate Romo. It's the Star.:starspin

Because they only had two OT's available:mad:

Could've sworn Romo threw and INT as well.

They were out there for fun, how often do see a DT ask if you are alright after sacking a QB. That game was pretty much what you would see in practice

desperation throw at the end of the game- those kind of pics really don't count.

McChoke was chased around early in the game...

As he was getting plastered.

McNabb is horrible and I hope he stays in Philly a long time. :)

I used to be skeptical of Romo, didn't think he would ever get it, but this season changed my thinking. I'm glad we have Romo. Very short list of QB's I would take over him right now.

Enjoy slamming him for a pick in the Pro-bowl. almost every pass McNabb threw was a potential pick.

Romo> McNabb :)

I really have to wonder about that sack Diehl let Mario Williams have.

He gave almost no effort to block him.

Oh the game was for fun. The D-Line hardly even tried the vast majority of the time.

There were 2 or 3 times that a guy could have easily lit Rodgers up but instead slowed down, let Rodgers step up in the pocket, and didn't even give the effort to get him.

There was nothing to this.

Aaron Rodgers on a team with a good offensive line but still with decent threats at WR/TE would be ridiculous. The dude is a great QB.

1. When you're the final QB to come in for the 4th quarter, the defense sometimes ratchets it up a little because they smell the extra 20,000 and it becomes a little bit of a pride in your conference thing.

2. I thought the sack was Romo's fault, actually...the DEs weren't even coming hard or pushing for sacks...once cut off, they pretty much stopped and held their ground (no one wants to get hurt or get near a pile), but Romo stepped up in the pocket when he didn't need to and the DE simply ran to him relatively untouched.

So that's two games in a row now where the OL did Romo and his offense in. :laugh2: ]

Wait...why am I laughing at that?

I don't think that was an issue. OTs are used to playing an entire game full out. They should not have been tired with the pass rushers going at half speed most of the game.

Interesting. This is why I think it is ridiculous that they give home field in the world series to the winning league in baseball. Why would players from the Orioles or Royals or some other team want to give home field to the Yankees or Red Sox. Makes no sense.

No, past couple of plays, DEs were just running wide. So that time, Romo stepped into pocket, but DE just was waiting and then pushed inside for the sack. Romo didn't expect to be hit.

And yeah, it was the end of the game and winning the extra 20K thing. Seemed like AFC tried more hard than NFC group though, especially at the end. Either way, seemed like this Pro-bowl was more of fun game or no trying hard game for the players then I can remember. Normally, at the end usually both turn it up a little bit when it is close. THis time it didn't seem like it.

Seriously, I think you can thank McKinnie for that... in that 4th quarter, I thought the NFC offensive linemen looked kinda gassed, always going up against fresh AFC players...

Not only did Diehl not even try to block Mario Williams, but after Mario planted Romo into the turf Diehl went over and helped up Mario instead of Romo.

What OT in the NFL goes over and helps up the DE that just sacked his QB while his QB is still on the ground???

Great? I think that is still up for debate. Great would be Montana. Elway. Manning. Aikman. Rogers is still a good QB. But not great.

Romo is a good QB too.

I mean great for today's standards. He's in the upper echelon in NFL QBs today. I'm considering the top 5 in the NFL to be great, not great on a large scale, just compared to their current peers. I don't know if I explained that well though.
