Why is Batman trying to use fake karate to fight? I am trained in martial arts and obviously he is clueless. Oh and BTW this was Batman's fault, he got really upset that the guy was play fighting him or harassed him. He should have been Batman cool about it.

There have been plenty of fights started by people who don't have any martial arts or fighting skills. And most fights are started for dumb reasons, so using smarts doesn't enter into the equation. Even when people are trained to fight it sometimes looks dumb. Brawls happen so quickly in real life that very few people come across looking smooth and coordinated like action movie stars.
